Happy Birthday Jenn!

Today is my dear friend Jenn's birthday. I am very thankful that Stampin' Up! brought us together. We are both no longer SU demonstrators but continue to create. We try and get together as much as we can, but life has a habit of getting in the way of things. We always have a hoot when we get together. I am so happy that she has moved back to Ontario. I'm hoping that we will be able to get together more often since she is closer. Here's just a few random shots of Jenn! Doing what she does best - smiling and having fun!
This shot was taken one year at Victopia! We usually do some fun pictures. I'm not sure what the 'leg flip' was for, but we were all doing it!

This one was taken one year at Jactopia! Now that we moved back to the Parkhill area I am nice and close to Mum and Dad's farm and so we did a little road trip with the girls to see the steers!

Last year at Victopia the girls slept outside in Sandy and Ken's fancy schmancy trailer! These are my Charlies' Jacqui's Angels!
These two - never a dull moment when the two of them are around! Whenever I see this picture for some reason I wanna yell "Cleveland Rocks, Cleveland Rocks" - I don't even know why - I've never been, but that's what I feel like doing when I see this shot.
And when these three get together - non-stop laughter! I love my girls.

I love you Jenn,
I hope you have a great day,
Chow for now,
Jacqui

Happy 19th Birthday Joel!

I've been sick as a dog the last four days, but I couldn't let today go by without posting a little something about my baby. I didn't want him to think I didn't care. I can't believe he turned 19 yesterday.
I can't believe how fast the time has flown by. It seems like just yesterday that he was born.
We survived burnt legs, smashed out teeth, his bout in the hospital when he was very ill, and the last year which had a few unique challenges, but we made it through and I am so proud of the young man he has become.
He makes me laugh all the time. He brings a smile to my face just to think about him. He gives the best hugs ever and I love when I am on the receiving end of one. I love him to pieces; he's my baby. (no matter how old he gets)
I know he has big plans for his life and I don't doubt that he will reach each and every goal he sets out for himself.
I love you Joel,

Day One....again

Well I have decided that 2015 is going to my year to think about me again and get healthy and start to move.
As of today I am back on my program....the one that I was on back in 2007 where I lost like 50 pounds and swore I would never be over a certain weight again.......well........I am over it again and more over it than I have ever been. So enough is enough.
I just turned 46 years old, so there is no time like the present to get back on track and get moving and trying to eat better.

I weighed in and Jade took my measurements so I have numbers to look back on as I go through this journey that unfortunately I have been on before.
Here's hoping that 2015 is my  year to take it off and keep it off. I have a set weight that I would like to get to, but I may be unrealistic in that long term goal. As time goes on our bodies change and I may not be able to get to that weight ever again. But I am not going to let that discourage me. I am going to set small goals for myself so I don't keep looking at that long term goal and get depressed by how long it is going to take.

So I got up, had my shower, ate my breakfast took my vitamins, drove to work and believe it or not.....when I got to work I took the stairs instead of the elevator.
I know that's not a huge deal - but it's a start and for me...that's a good thing.
Here's to a healthy 2015.

Chow for now,
Jacqui
