Superbowl Sunday and a little hike

Phoebe loves to run. Her nose to the ground where ever she goes. She is doing pretty good with recall. Today we were out on a hike and a squirrel ran in front of her. She took off after it, but it only took 3 "Phoebe Come's" for her to come back to us. The other night a deer ran in front of her and her recall was not so great. She was out of sight for about 5 minutes, so today was much better. It's so nice to get out in the fresh air and the sun again, but this mud...ugggh...the worst

She loves to have a paw on you.

I like the way she holds her paw up when she is focusing on something.

She's such a gorgeous girl.

More noises and smells.

Not quite as muddy along this stretch.

We tried so hard to get her to stay on the stump without one of us there!

She's getting good at walking on the leash, sticking close to you.

We usually have the Super Bowl on at this time of year. Joe watches the game and the rest of us watch the half time show and who is singing the national anthem. This year was no different.

I loved Chris Stapleton's version of the Star Spangled Banner. Many people were quite emotional listening to him sing it. The half time show....not a fan. It was boring. We need some country singers to take over the next few years of half time shows.

All in all, a pleasant Sunday

Phoebe

We have adopted a dog. Her name is Phoebe. She has been here since the 22nd of January and we love her with all our hearts..already!!

For about a year or so, she would come over for visits as she lived about 5 km away. She was a wanderer. This shot shows how she loves to have her tummy rubbed. This was a picture from one of her visits.

This is how she would look at me while I was working!

In the spring last year she came over while my girls were here for Jactopia. They fell in love with her immediately!

And then this winter she came for another visit.

We talked it over as a family and decided we would love to have her live here. So she's a Lines now!

More adventures to come.......
