Daphne is TWO!!!!!

It's so hard to believe that 2 years has gone by already and Daphne will have a new baby brother or sister in a little over a month! I am very excited to see this new addition to our family! Daphne was soooooo adorable on Saturday when we went to her house for her birthday party. She had a pretty new dress on and was chatting up a storm! It is so fun to listen to her talk. She is just like a little sponge right now. Learning so many new things and saying so many new words. I was very happy to see that she knew all the Sesame Street characters!!!! I made her a a box card with the Sesame Street characters on it. I do believe she like the card (she happened to be playing with my phone and saw the picture of it before she actually opened it and she rhymed off all the names of the characters on the card!!!) and she even ripped off poor Snuffleupagus's head so she could carry him around with her!
She got some very nice presents from family and friends! She got a very cute cozy coupe from Mommy and Daddy too! She'll be tootin' around on the deck in no time! It was a very nice day, the weather was beautiful, actually quite warm, so we were thankful for the breeze, and it was great to spend some time with family and friends and celebrate Daphne's birthday.
Look at these cute little curls!!!
She likes to sit on the base of the umbrella! Just her size for sitting!
The box card and the removal of Snuffleupagus!

Looking at one of the books she got for a present
She kept going over to the beer bucket (which was her little table filled with ice!) and scooping up some ice to cool off!
Admiring her Anna and Elsa balloon
 In her cozy coupe
Look at this face. She thoroughly enjoyed her Elmo cupcake!
I have a little video of a baby lamb on my phone. The lamb "baa's" on the video. Every time it does, she laughs and says "funny sheep". It's adorable!
Her new birthday hat.
Love you Daphne!

Happy Mothers's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to the best Mum ever. I am very blessed, thankful and proud to have you as my Mum. Your unconditional love was something I never understood until I had kids of my own. It truly is a gift to be a Mum and I hope you think of it is a gift too!! (although I'm sure over the years you were frantically trying to find the gift receipt so you could return it for a refund!!!haha)
I thoroughly enjoy all the time we spend together and am very happy that because of how geographically close we are now, we an do it more often than before!
I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day. I love you.
