Exciting Saturday night!!

 I remember a time when we used to look forward to Saturday's so we could go out and do something ! This is what our Saturday nights look like now.

Lazy Weekend

 I had a pretty lazy weekend this one. I did some reading, got my paperwork ready for my taxes, went grocery shopping and went on a bit of a walk with Jade and Phoebe.

I'm trying to get out with them when I can, but this weather is sooo crazy lately, and I really need to walk on level ground. 

We opted for a walk around downtown Strathroy. There are some nice shops there. The Rusty Wrench was jumping! 

When we were done our "disciplined" walk we let Phoebe run a bit in an open lot.

I was trying to get some good pictures of her running and having fun. I was zoomed in a bit and was trying to follow here with my phone. She gets running so fast it was hard to keep her in the frame!

I did manage to get a couple shots of her and Jade. I love how she puts her one paw up while she is "checking something out".

I started this book on February 26th. It has been very hard to put down it was so well written. 

I borrowed it from Courtney quite some time ago and I finally took a break from the Kay Scarpetta series of books to read this one, and I'm glad I did. I am enjoying learning more about the indigenous culture. As much as I am enjoying reading these types of books I am also very saddened by the way these people have been treated and are still being treated. It breaks my heart that we as human beings view some people as "lesser".
