Riley Calendar January 2009

Yesterday I showed you the cover to my 2009 Riley Calendar. Today will be the unveiling of the month of January!! Ha listen to me...sounds like I am taking the sheet off of some statue to show this fabulous head that was created cause this guy saved the world.....ha...not so much....although....Riley saves me when I am in a pinch and need to make a card... There is pretty much one for every occasion..or you can tweak him so he is for your occasion!

Anyhow, here is what I designed for January.
The base piece of card stock is SU's Always Artichoke and the designer paper is Basic Grey Figgy Pudding I believe. The snow flakes were wheeled on with the SU Snowflake wheel. Riley was stamped, coloured with Copics, cut out and adhered to the page.
We got some more snow today, so it looks like I could go out and do what Riley is doing...making a snowman.....but I won't!!!! I'll sit on my butt and read my book or stamp something and think about the beach!!!!
Happy New Year to everyone and if you are heading out to festivities tonight.....BE CAREFUL and Play SAFE!!
Chow for now

Just wanted to say that I LOVE your Riley calendar. I just ordered 8 Riley stamps and am anxiously awaiting the new ones because I have to have more. I live in Alaska so moose are one of my faves and my dog, a min pin, is named Riley! So I had to have em....at least that's what I told my husband. :)
