A great day!

Well yesterday was a great day! I had the day off work, which is always the start to a good day, but the reason was my hubby needed to have a procedure done. We got over to the hospital at 0630 and we were done and on our way home by 0845. And the good news is .....everything is normal and he is cancer free!!!!! So that was definitely a great start to the day! Then we had to go to Woodstock to pay $$ to our mechanic for keeping our vehicles safe and on the road. We have not been able to get Charlie into the van or car since we got her, which has been frustrating cause we want to take her in to Parkhill to meet Granny at the nursing home and we want to take her to the beach too. So we thought we'd give it a shot. So I put her leash on and walked her around the yard a little bit and then I walked her over to the van. It took a little bit of coaching to get her into the van the first time, but Joe was inside and calling her and finally she went in. So we got to take Charlie with us on our road trip to Woodstock! So we swung around to visit Jade! She was excited cause she has been missing Charlie since she went to Woodstock to work for the summer. Then we had a visit with Joe's sister. We then went and paid our mechanic and as a special treat - we went to Fritzies for lunch! Man oh man - I certainly miss that place since we moved! We then headed home and Charlie slept pretty much all the way home! So all in all it was a successful road trip and a great great day! So here's wishing you a super day today. Chow for now, Jacqui
