Christmas Stampin' All Year Long Challenge #47

Another week and another challenge over at the Christmas Stampin' All Year Long Challenge Blog of die cuts - more alphabets than anything, so I kept it simple and used a big circle !!!! This week, the challenge is to use Die Cuts when you create your card. I don't have alotSissix die and the scalloped circle die as well. I went with a 6 X 6 sized card again this week. I like the extra room to add stuff. The base of the card is Close to Cocoa card stock from Stampin' Up! I used Garden Green for the scalloped circle, both the big one and the small one. I used Whisper White card stock for the plain circle, both big and small. To create this card, I used the Holiday Sampler stamp set from Stampin' Up!, the gift set from Hanna Stamps and The Best Way stamp set from Close to My Heart. I randomly stamped the pine needles in Garden Green on the white circle and on the Close to Cocoa base. Then stamped the pine cones randomly in Close to Cocoa. I stamped the Christmas bulbs in random colours and then sponged on them with the same colour to give an effect of glowing. I then put Crystal Lacquer on them to make them shine. I then stamped the bear, presents and bags and coloured them with Copics. I cut them out and adhered them to the circle and put one bag and one present in each corner of the card. The sentiment was stamped with Chocolate Chip ink on the small white circle and matted with the Garden Green scalloped circle. It was then attached to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
