My Amazing Race Contestants!!!

I don't watch The Amazing Race on a regular basis, but I have seen a few episodes. I think it would be neat to travel all over the place and see all those fantastic places, but then I think about how scared I would be to travel somewhere that I did not know the language. I have not done a whole lot of travelling in my life, and for the most part, every where I went....everyone spoke English which was just fine with me!

I have a friend at work, Rob, and he is a "traveller extraordinaire"!!!! He has been so many places I cannot even count them all. When he travels he takes the time to email his family and friends to let them know he is okay and where his travels have taken him today. The way he describes his adventures is awesome. It is just like you were right there with him. I should start calling him "Travelling Matt" - remember him??? from Fraggle Rock!!! He used to travel and he would send post cards home to Wembley and Gobo!!! And then there was Sprocket the dog!! Oh my gosh..what a flashback that was!! Ha ha...back to today... oh yeah.. I just watched the episode of LOST that I taped last night...maybe that is why I am "time travellin'" today!!!

Anyways...back to Rob! He always shares his adventures and his pictures with me when he comes home from a vacation. At Christmas time I printed off a bunch of his pictures and made him a calendar for Christmas. I printed the pictures off in black and white and in colour cause I wasn't sure which ones I wanted to use for the calendar. I ended up using the colour ones, so I had a bunch of black and white ones left over.

I was working on things for my display for the Crop Stop and Shop on the weekend and I made this Top Note Die book. I thought the colours in this designer paper was masculine so I thought it would be good for the black and white shots I had.

Chow for now,
